iPhone, iPad and Mac setup

Apple Mail cannot find the settings on its own. Instead, download a configuration profile for your address: it creates the account with the right settings, and all you have to do is enter your password.

iPhone and iPad

  1. Open this page in Safari, enter your e-mail address and tap Download the profile, then Allow.
  2. Open Settings and tap Profile Downloaded at the top of the list.
  3. Tap Install, enter your device passcode, then your e-mail password.

Mac

  1. Enter your e-mail address above and click Download the profile, then open the downloaded file.
  2. Open System Settings > General > Device Management (or Profiles on older versions).
  3. Double-click the profile, click Install and enter your e-mail password.

The profile only contains the server settings, never your password. It is marked as “unverified”: this is normal.
